Bio-Organic Fabric

The organic cotton comes from non-GM plants, but above all it is grown without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, but only with natural products.

A importente of international monitoring body is the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) whose job is to define right from cultivation, followed by the collection, production of yarn and finally the fabric all the requirements that cotton should have to be duly defined BIO.

The GOTS certification is issued only after three consecutive years of cultivation without any use of chemicals.

Crucially, and to point out is the low environmental impact which the cultivation of organic cotton in fact halved by 46% the gas emissions that alter the climate.

Besides the cultivation of organic cotton it reduces by 91% the consumption of water for irrigation and 62% of the primary energy.

In cotton processing stages (texture, coloring, finishing etc ..) are never used substances which have any negative environmental impact in fact the white color is obtained by using a peroxide in order to avoid damaging the optical brighteners !!!

In the last period, the organic cotton is spreading exponentially has inspired many clothing lines also coming to the creation of casings for mattresses.
