Do you suffer from dust allergies? Why not buying an anti-bacterial and anti-mite mattress?

In recent years allergies have become a disorder common to many people, who have to cope with their allergy every year in springtime. But “dust mite allergy” symptoms last for ever. This is why it is advisable to take care of the household environment and, first and foremost, the bedroom, where dust concentrates most and we spend most of our time.

It is therefore useful, and sometimes even essential, to buy a hypoallergenic and/or anti-mite mattress with a breathable cover, treated with anti-mite products and with a hypoallergenic fibre filling, such as natural latex or latest-generation polymers, thus preventing the concentration of dust. A good hypoallergenic mattress also features a higher level of breathability and resistance than traditional mattresses, as a result of the use of a 3D strip along the edges, thereby allowing greater aeration and preventing the accumulation of dust and proliferation of bacteria, allowing the mattress to remain cool and dry.

In the last decade the number of people suffering from dust and mite allergies has increased considerably, which is why Mollyflex has decided to make most of its mattresses using anti-mite and hypoallergenic fabrics. A wide range of fabrics featuring different properties is available. For example, the Silver Safe fibre, with anti-mite and anti-microbial properties, is used for hypoallergenic mattresses, while X-Static fabric is used to maintain the mattress cool and dry, thereby preventing the proliferation of bacteria.

Below is a list of some of our mattresses we specifically recommend if you are looking for a hypoallergenic and anti-mite mattress.
