Inner section features

Each mattress of the different lines produced by Mollyflex is constructed of special internal features that confer special features to the mattress. The different types of technology applied are reported in each mattress Mollyflex and follow you can find out which internal characteristics have your mattress.

Rolled up

The mattresses are rolled up and vacuum packed in order to make them easy to carry as their size is reduced by 90%. In addition they assure more advantages to the final users by granting greatest hygiene.

Carbon Barrier

The carbon fibre present in the fabric creates a barrier against the electro-magnetic pollution. The morphological features of the carbon create a permanent shield which protects against the radiation now present in many sources that is transmitted from telecommunication systems to electrical appliances.

Massage Kit

As optional, It is possible to apply a massage kit to the inner layer.

Suitable for motorized bed frame

Thanks to the structure of their inner layer, these mattresses are suitable for use on motorized bed frames as they allow for maximum flexibility of the fibres, making movement of the bed frame easier but without any loss in the functionality of the mattress.

Density 50 Kg

The word density indicates the weight of a body per unit of volume and, specifically regarding the mattress, the weight of the foam (of which the mattresses are likely made). For example, density 50 Kg. means that 1 cubic metre should weigh 50 kg.

Density 55 Kg

The word density indicates the weight of a body per unit of volume and, specifically regarding the mattress, the weight of the foam (of which the mattresses are likely made). For example, density 55 Kg. means that 1 cubic metre should weigh 55 kg.

7 Zones

The 7-zones system ensures a perfect support to the vertebral column which remains perfectly in line. In fact the elements 2, 4 and 7 are characterized by regular firmness, while the elements 1, 3, 5 and 6 are characterized by extra firmness. In this way the vertebral column is differently supported according to the zone, paying special attention to the points that need it most.

Anti-bedsore

The anti-bedsore layer is mainly used as a medical device; in fact it prevents skin injuries in patients that are bedridden in a fixed position for a long period of time due to their health problem. The anti-bedsore layers are designed to distribute the contact pressure of the body on the supporting surface.

Disperses moisture

In the polyurethane mattresses open cell foams are used; the greater the size of the cells that make up the foam, the greater the elasticity and breathability of the mattress. In fact the inner layers made up of open cell foams and specific channels for internal aeration assure the best transpiration and capacity to disperse the moisture and heat thus creating the ideal conditions to prevent formation of mites and other causes of allergies.

Non-deformable

Each mattress is tested;  during the test the foam undergoes repeated compression and decompression cycles (dynamic fatigue testing). This test is made in order to assess if the foam complies with the needed requirements.

Memory Foam

The memory foam is optimal especially for those who have back problems and for those with blood circulation difficulties. The "foam" shape is modified by the body heat, thus creating the cosiest place possible for our body. The body temperature is kept constant during all the resting period in summer and winter.

Free of CFC

The C.F.C’s are chlorofluorocarbon compounds with only an atom of carbon; they are generally produced through chemical synthesis by adding halogens. The use of lighter compounds containing chlorine and bromine have been discontinued and considered illegal as they are responsible for ozone depletion and are dangerous for human beings.

Orthopaedic

The adjective “orthopaedic” indicates every kind of mattress specifically designed to avoid injuries to our body and prevent it staying in wrong positions which may cause pathologies of the muscle and skeletal system.

Soft Touch

The soft-touch refers to the inner layer of the surface which is in contact with the skin. It is soft to the touch and gives the user a pleasant feeling of well-being and comfort.

5 Zones

The 5-zones system ensures a perfect support to the vertebral column which remains perfectly in line. In this way the vertebral column is differently supported according to the zone, paying special attention to the points that need it most.
