This category product also includes mattresses and pillows. The attachment of the DM 26.6.1984 establishes the method of test and the classification system for padded mattresses; according to their fire response, they are divided into three classes: 3 IM, 2 IM and 1 IM.
The classe 1 IM is the best class, bestowed only to those mattresses that have passed all the tests. The certification, once obtained, it doesn’t authorize the immediate sale of mattresses, but it’s part of the documents required to obtain the approval of the Ministry.
